NCR at marami pang lugar, nasa alert level 1 pa rin hanggang July 15 kahit tumaas ang COVID cases

Mananatili ang National Capital Region (NCR) sa alert level 1 ang hanggang July 15, 2022 sa kabila ng pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19, ayon sa Malacañang ngayong Martes, June 28.

Ayon kay Acting presidential spokesman Martin Andanar, inaprubahan ang naturang alert status ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) base sa rekomendasyon ng sub-Technical Working Group for Data Analytics.

Sa 867 new COVID-19 cases na naiulat nitong Lunes, June 27, 434 sa mga ito ay mula sa NCR.

Ito na ang pinakamataas na bilang ng mga bagong kaso na naitala sa nakalipas na mahigit tatlong buwan o mula March 6.

Nitong weekend, isinailalim ng Department of Health (DOH) sa moderate risk classification, mula sa dating low risk ang mga lungsod ng Pasig, San Juan, Marikina at Quezon, gayundin ang munisipalidad ng Pateros dahil sa mabilis na pagtaas ng COVID-19 cases.

Pero ayon sa DOH, kahit tumaas ang kaso, kaunti ang bilang ng mga naoospital, at isa ito sa mga batayan kaya nanatili sa alert level 1 ang NCR.

Samantala, nasa alert level 1 din ang 85 sa 121 provinces, highly urbanized cities (HUC) at independent component cities (ICC).

Gayundin ang 166 sa 744 iba pang component cities at municipalities.
